Dear kentie1964,

Hi there, this is Travis, the Director of Customer Service and your recent inquiry was forward to my attention. We're very happy to have you as a member, even more so as a paying one. Yes we admit it, we're in the profit making business. At the same time we also support a number of charities each year, (Aids Walk Boston - just to mention a local one you may be aware of), as well as partnering with a long and growing list of health organizations, both in the US and abroad. Team Manhunt is made up of men & women, from a wide variety of ethnicities, folks with a variety of sexual orientations and political views. As for your request for a list of top dollar earners, we're a privately held company and will be unable to provide you with this information.

That being said, I hope that in the end you choose to remain a paying member of Manhunt, deciding that a paid membership is a good value, providing you with access to meet great guys for sex and more.
Thank You,
Travis and the Manhunt.net Customer Service Team
Kentie's response on this blog:

It is unclear who is profiting from the dollars I give to Manhunt for their services. Furthermore, what health organizations does Manhunt support: Baptist Hospitals, Ex-Gay therapy retreats? Who knows? Something seems fishy to me. I didn't ask Travis. I wonder if he would tell me.

You know Travis writes about admitting that Manhunt is a profit making business. I wonder why he wrote that? It is good to make money, but who is making the money? Is that money funding movements to restrict my civil liberties? Funding Ex-Gay groups? Funding McCain, Pat Robertson, Oral Roberts?

Of course, because it is a private business, and there is nothing wrong with that, the public cannot scrutinize it that way it can a publicly traded business. Too bad. It will be harder to do the research.

Not to sound paranoid, but isn't it perfect situation? Using SEX, market to gays and Let them support their opposition.

Just my thoughts.
Kentie
