I totally forgot to comment about the Susan Boyle stuff. Someone sent me the link, and I was like, so? She doesn't sing that well. They were like, but she's so old and unattractive? I was like, "you haven't been to that many classical music concerts have you?" It's astounding to me how sentimental our society is and how fucked up our values are!

Also about the guns. Sure, if someone wants to kill you, they are going to kill you. It's the same with being robbed though. If you leave the front door open, is it easier to be robbed than if your door is locked? So many people die from gun accidents it is insane. If people want to protect themsevles, why not pepper spray or things like that (I don't believe tasers are safe). Sure some people would still smuggle in guns, but how many kids are going to play with Daddy's handgun? How many people are going to commit suicide with guns where people have a much higher success rate?

And also, just because there is constitutional right to something doesn't mean it's something we should think is good. Constitutions aren't necessarily fair or good. Just look at ours with slavery and the 3/5's compromise. We are obsessed with guns and violence in this society, and it needs to stop not just with the citizenry but also with the government and our insane military spending. Why not spend money on giving people clean water and food instead of bombing and trying to set up puppet governments. I think we would get a lot farther.

Love the show!
