FLATUS Show 219 - Peace of mind***206-984-3617***

In this episode: Tag! Flatus Show listeners. I talk about some movies: Exodus and Paris is Burning. Exodus is schmaltzy and as bad a Showgirls and Paris is Burning is sublime and you learn to never cross a Drag Queen. I'm reading Quentin Durward, a novel by Sir Walter Scott, on my Kindle and I wonder if James Joyce was influenced by him. I mean, did James Joyce read Scott? I bet you can tell a lot about a person from what they read. I also wonder what Hitler and Mussolini read that led them to the path of totalitarianism. Mellie laid four eggs those week, but now she's over it. Also it is Samuel Barbers 100th birthday this year, but you don't have to get him anything because he's dead, but Elliot Carter, another American composer, is still kicking it at 101. If you have any questions, or comments leave them on the blog or call me at 206-984-3617. Enjoy and thanks so much for listening.
