In this episode: Hello! Flatus Show listeners. I just got back from whirlwind visit to NYC, where I attended three operas and a play. I saw Tosca, Die Fliegende Hollander
, Lulu
and God of Carnage
. Lulu and God of Carnage were terrific! I recommend them both, except there are no more performances of Lulu and God of Carnage ends its' run in June. However, if you can't get to NYC by June, look for it in your regional theaters. I am reading Procopius's Secret History
on my Kindle. It is a fascinating tell-all-tale of the Byzantine political underbelly. Let's just say that Theodora really wasn't that much of a Christian. I found a new source for reading Brenda Starr line. If you have any questions, or comments leave them on the blog or call me at 206-984-3617. Enjoy and thanks so much for listening.
