I love rendered chicken fat. I think it does have a distinct flavor. I'll be very curious to hear about the chicken fat cakes. I know that pies made with lard taste rather different to me, so I'd be curious to know about cakes. I think you're right about atheists needed to have come from some certain faith system. Maybe we're both wrong though. :-) I thought there were lots of Xtians in Lebanon. I had no idea you had such a Sudanese following. How were the noodles? If you want lots of rendered fat you should buy a goose or duck and steam it. TONS OF FAT. I'm curious about if they used more animal fats too. Let us know what you find out.
